Maggie Cherveny

Bio

Maggie Cherveny, Tutorial Coordinator and Learning Specialist, joined ASPSA in May 2022, In her current role she oversees the tutoring program, which includes the hiring, training, and supervision of tutors, as well as scheduling all tutoring sessions. She is also a learning specialist where she works with a small caseload of students on academic skill building. Originally from Cary, IL, she received her B.A. in Business Administration from Bellarmine University. She would later go on to obtain her M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from UNC Greensboro. Before joining ASPSA, Maggie was an intern at UNCG working with the student-athlete support services office. Maggie resides in Raleigh with her two cats, Penny and Pearl. Outside of work she enjoys staying active, playing intramural sports, going to NC State sporting events, and spending time with friends.
