Kayla Owens

Bio

Kayla Owens, Academic Coordinator, joined ASPSA in July 2020. In her current role she is the Academic Coordinator for Men’s Basketball and Women’s Tennis. Originally from Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, Kayla attended West Chester University of PA where she graduated in 2015 with her B.S. in Exercise Science. In 2018, she then went on to obtain her M.A. in Public Administration with a graduate certificate in Sport Management and Athletics. Before joining ASPSA, Kayla worked as a GA at West Chester within the Athletic Mentoring Department from 2017-2018. She also was a Graduate Intern with football and Men’s Basketball at Temple University in 2018. Then she worked as an Academic Support Assistant for Football at Penn State University from 2019 to 2020. Outside of work you may see Kayla out with her dog Bruce or coaching throwing as part of the Track and Field Staff at Cary Academy.
