Bio

Emily Clinkhammer, Associate Director and Learning Specialist, joined ASPSA in 2014. In her current role she works with a caseload of students to develop academic skills, supervises a team of learning specialists, and manages the Learning Specialists and Support Services. Originally from Cazenovia, NY, Emily attended Hamilton College where she received her Bachelor degree in Mathematics and was also a member of the Women’s Swimming and Diving team. She received her Master’s degree in Postsecondary Education from Syracuse University. Before joining the ASPSA team, Emily was a learning specialist at Virginia Tech. She currently resides in Knightdale with her husband, Thomas, and their daughter. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, reading, working out, and spending time with her family.
