NC State Advisor Honored with Regional Advising Award

Congratulations are in order for NC State academic advisor Maria Crockett as she was recently selected for the Region 3 Excellence in Advising – Advisor Primary Role Award. This award is given by NACADA’s Global Community for Academic Advising and recognizes individuals whose primary role at the institution is the direct delivery of advising services to students. Maria has been at NC State since October 2005 and currently advises women’s golf, men’s soccer, gymnastics, and rifle. The Academic Support Program for Student-Athletes has always recognized the value of Maria’s work with student-athletes and is proud to see her recognized by an organization such as NACADA. Maria is humbled and excited to receive this award and is proud to represent ASPSA and NC State.
