29 NC State Student-Athletes Graduate in Fall 2020

On Tuesday, December 1st, student-athlete graduates, family and support staff gathered on Zoom to celebrate the class of 2020. Jeff Gravley along with Melissa Evans, from NC State volleyball, emceed the event. Melissa reminded student-athletes that even though COVID may have impacted this semester, it did not take away the memories, accomplishments and experiences they’ve made at NC State University.

Leon Krapf, from men’s soccer, gave the student-athlete reflection. He encouraged the graduates to take what they’ve learned on their journey at NC State and apply it to something special. He closed his uplifting remarks stating that he is confident that the student-athletes all have bright futures ahead.

Special guest speaker Cullen Jones, a men’s swimming alumnus and Olympian, reflected on his journey after NC State. He credits his success to taking himself out of comfortable situations in order to accomplish his goals. He motivated the graduates to do the same and push themselves to reach their dreams.

Congratulations to the class of 2020! We can’t wait to see what you #thinkanddo next.
